Lake Whitney Fishing Report
Lake Whitney Water is murky and 1.16' low. The Black bass are slow. The Striped bass are slow. The White bass are fair on live minnows, pet-spoons, and Charlie-slabs. The Crappie are fair on live minnows and yellow-tube jigs. Catfish are good on frozen shrimp, stink-bait, and live-bait.

2010 Latest Lake Whitney Fishing Report
Lake Whitney water is somewhat murky at this time and is 1.89' below pool level. The Largemouth bass fishing is rather slow right now. The Striped bass fishing has been fair on live minnows and using striper jigs. The White bass are pretty much fair on live minnows. Crappie fishing is fairly good on live minnows and tube jigs (blue). Catfish are fair using stinky bait and night crawlers worms.
