Fishing Report for Lake Fork August 2010

Lake Fork water is fairly clear and 83 to 88 degrees. The Lake is 0.33' below pool. Largemouth bass are good using buzzbaits, Yellow-Magics and soft plastic frogs early morning and late afternoon, around midday, switch to jigs, DD22s, Carolina-rigs and Texas-rigs. Night-time fishing for bass is reportly good/excellent. Crappie fishing is fair on live minnows in about 15 to 25 feet under the main lake bridges or around your brush piles. Catfish are good using prepared-baits in 15 to 20 feet of water.
